decided to get my original 15 bbs alloys refurbed, currently have 17 alpinas on my 1991 325 convertible , car is lowered 40mm, what tyre size should i fit , want them to bewid as poss but not have any rubbing issues or make the arch look unfilled.... also anyone recommend make.thinking, goodyear, pirelli, or dunlop Thanks

205/40 17 runs ok on mine with a 60mm drop all round

sorry just read my post its not clear, have alpinas on the car want to fit the 15 bbs, what size tyres for the 15inch BBS

205,50,15 on mine on a 60/40mm drop.

Standard tyre size for original 15 inch BBS x-spokes is 205-55 R15.

Standard tyre size is 205/55/15 as stated.

The 205/50/15 apparently improve feel but of course your speedo will be slightly (more!) inaccurate.

On a lowered car I'd go for the 50s as the 55s can look a bit balloon-like.

205/50x15 is a standard Cossie size, so you shouldn't have too much trouble getting some decent tyres in that size..
The 55's may look a bit too swollen as Zayyan says
