Need some advice im ordering a full spax suspension kit for my sport and theres two different ride heights 60/40 or 60mm all round. just want to get a general idea of what everybody does im planning 17" 'pinas as well but dont want the cars ride to be that hard, will 60/40 be low enough might sound a stupid question but iv had trouble with lowering in the past and ended up spending double the money just wanna get it right this time.lol
cheers peeps

I'd advise to put the 17's on first and then decide IF you want to lower it and if so, by how much. Low cars look good but can be impractical or even impossible to drive on normal roads if lowered too much. What will you do if you encounter a speed bump, turn around?

60/40 is regarded by most of the people in the know to be the best. 60 all round will make it very twitchy in the wet. There's no reason you won't get over a hump if u go a bit slower than normal, and very slow with people in the back!

I've got a lowered car at the moment and if anyone would care to raise it again, free of charge, I'd be most grateful! Sick to death of slowing right down to go over speed bumps and STILL getting nasty noises. Like you say, nightmare with passengers in the back.

My cars currently 60/40 IMO its one of the nicest looks for the E30.The stance is very nice, the front comes down a bit lower than the back and looks agressive,as well as handles nicely.I dont get much body role, and if you take it easy on speed bumps etc its fine. On 17's mate your going to have a harsh ride anyway, so 60/40 might help make things a little bit smoother as well!?!

My car in the sig is on 17" with a 60mm drop and it rubs on full lock (215/45/17 tyres) might be alright with 205/40/17 tyres. The ride is harsh (has powerflex bushes aswell) but I don't find it twitchy at all. Speed bumps are everywhere in my area and as long as you slow down they don't cause a problem...... well not for me

I'm planning a 40mm jobbie and a bush you can change on the front for an extra 10mm. I think this should look good to me. So with an M-tech drop already it's gonna be 20mm back and 30mm front perfect!
