I'm told that I need to replace the rubber bushes (?) that sit above from shocks, visible from the engine bay.

Where do I buy the replacements - BMW ?
Any tips what to do and not do while this is being done ?

These are known as 'top mounts'. They are available from GSF and ECP for about £15ish...

Don't buy them from ECP as they do not have the bearings. GSF ones are better.

I tend to buy ALL my parts from GSF... only go to ECP if I can't get what I want from there...
