Hey,
I have a buddy who want an LSD in his 318is. He cant find a 3.91 not to mind a 4.10 but he can locate a 3.73.
I know the accelaration will be affected but has anyone fitted a 3.73 to a 318is before - will the decrease in accelaration be awful?

Thanks in advance! 8)

i expect it will be slow, racing metros instead of saxo's

probably knock it down to 316 speed, so not worth it.

There's a small case 4.10 lsd forsale right now tell your mate!

318iS is selling it

Wouldn't put anything under a 3.91 on, they come up for sale fairly often

Dans selling his 4.10 LSD at the mo:

Yes people thanks for the plug. heros you are!

that ratio would be a no no mate, as mentioned 3.91 or 4.10 is best. 4.27 lsd is also very good, but are rare as shit and will kill your top speed

i can post to ireland if your mate is interested at a cost mind!

Gussy,

I would try to hold out for a 4.10 LSD, I had a 3.91 LSD in my previous E30 and there was a noticeable difference going from a 4.10 ratio to a 3.91 ratio. 4% doesn't sound like much on paper but will make a slight difference in responsiveness.
