thinking of changing the hood on my e30 and doing it mysely, i know the manual one is a simple one to replace but how about the electric? i have got told you have to 'time' it up correctly or something in order for the opening mechanism to work ok????????????
has anyone done this and did they encounter any problem?

what do you want to do ...just change the hood fabric,,,,i have instructions if you want them...i did not do mine,,,i was told it was a job for the pros.
if you are talking about the motors and synchronising them ..there are also instructions but how good are you...neil at quarry let someone else do his!!
