differences between standard convertable and motorsport

hi im interested in buy a motoersport but i found 1 but im not sure its a motorsport

how can i tell it is?
will it say motorsport on the logbook?

please help hass

iirc the wheels should be bbs with grey centres, and also it should have bubble leather? not sure on any other differences but im guessing it must say something on the logbook or under the bonnet?

give a dealer a call with the cars vin(?) number and they can confirm its a motorsport.

M8,people could post allday here but phone the dealer and give the vin number is the only way to be sure...any e30 cab can get all the extras to make it look like a motorsport..but unless its made from the factory as one and registered as one,it dont mean nothing..

If its the 'Motorsport' thing you worried about,id get it checked out from the dealer

this has been done over and over, usually Gareth comes in with all the relevant links. But if he doesent come up soon do a search.

Wheels, leather, slightly lower, power hood are all clues. What colour is it ?
Check the vin number with main dealers will be conclusive. If the car is nearby whip round there take out rear seat bench and there will be a sticker underneath with the actual manufacture number.

It wony neccessarily say owt on the log book.
