Fitting 325 struts to my 1990 320. Expected the inner bearing to slide off the axle when the hub was removed- wrong!

Do I need a puller/special tool to remove or should I apply force via the lump hammer?

What is the torque for the hub nut on refitting?

Thanks in advance

hi m8, just done one this morning too! the inner race of the bearing got stuck on mine too. best thing to do is remove the metal backplate( 3 10mm bolts) if you have not done so and use a chiesel and knock it off, they are not usually hard to knock off. use a new nut if possible and torque to 290nm or 215 lb/ft.

Thanks for that, I had the bearings off, but I needed the torque. That is quite a lot!
