I have to remove my driver side headlamp wipers due to a loose headlamp so can anyone tell me how to remove them?
I undone the single nut which holds them on but they are still stiff solid. I understand that this is probably due to the age of them but just in case i thought you guys could tell me before i snap the shaft off.

Also, when i was trying this, one of the wipers sprung back against the inner headlamp and snapped the end off leaving the wiper blade at my feet. It looks like the plastic bit that holds the ball of the wiper blade is replaceable so can i have a part number?

Had a look at the parts CD and the arms are one complete part the plastic ends are not available seperately. No part number is shown for the arms. Try your local dealer.

To remove the arm from the shaft remove the nut (as you have) and rock the arms to an fro whilst pulling on them and they will eventually come off. The shaft is stainless steel and is quite strong.

Cheers,

For a really arward one once, I managed to get a pair of molegrips on the shaft just behind the wiper, and used this as a platform to lever off the arm with a screwdriver.
