e30 325i sport 88 making a kinda ticking noise

Hi all,

ok so basically what is above... it makes a ticking noise in the mornings when first started... but after she gets warm she is fine once i start drivin her.

any suggestions?

Check the tappet clearances. If they're OK, then it's probably the injectors, or the valve gear just running a bit dry untill the oil gets up there. Doubt if it's anything to worry about.
