Cab springs are the ones to go for on a touring, they are a little more expensive than the saloon springs, but don't bother trying to save money, the ride is awful...I've tried it!!

H&R seem to be a good all rounder, and not too harsh on the wallet either.

can only speak from my experience but the 40 drop h and r cab springs didn't lower the back of my touring in the slightest.

the spring was exactly the same size as the original

Your springs might have sagged over the years - this is quite common on tourings. Therefore lowering would be minimal.

If only H&R would sell us the Cab Cup kit springs alone! The 60/40 Cab Cup kit on tourings is simply awesome. Nice ride height, nice ride and the handling is very balanced and neutral.

Eibach do some for the Touring, I will try to find a touring fitted with Eibachs or maybe give a set out for testing.

The touring that gazza325 has (325sme's old car) has got eibach, and that had a nice drop to it.

mines on eibachs, not sure whether they were cab/saloon/touirng springs or whatever tho as they were on it when i bought it, nice stance but does seem a little higher at the back than front, the ride is also very nice

I was told Eibachs are discontinued for the Touring, got that info direct from them

Just brought some KW 40/40 springs for mine, fitted the rears yesterday. Had (PI i think) saloon rear springs on before - ride is a world apart, cant believe i ran it like it was for nearly 18months!

It does sit slightly higher then before, figure they may settle a bit but im not too fussed* - rear neg cambers loads less and it rides better :)

Cheers, Matt

*Thats a fuckin lie, i loved how how the tyres tucked into the arches before :-(

Were they touring specific springs too? Any pics? I've got a bit of a mix match on my touring at the moment, un-named on the front, and E30 M3 on the rear :? , if you don't mind, a price too?
