Just chipped my '88 325iSE with one of the acclaimed E30Zone chips (mild) - cheers to Ant for sorting me out with that. :D So far so good - pleasing results, with increased smoothness, and torque, and I think, better starting.

I was wondering what the ultimate rev limit is, having accidentally had her (briefly!) up to 6750rpm today 8O I did take the precaution of having the cambelt changed prior to fitting the chip, but would prefer not to find out the hard way what the limit is!

What's considered safe for this engine?

Cheers!
