Can anyone help thinking of uprating my brakes on an 87 M3. Has anyone used Zimmermann Discs before? Do you need any extra items to fit the discs. Good and Bad comments please.

You'd be better off using OEM disks. And upgrading pads. SS hoses and higher boiling fluid.

Have got a set on the rear of my is was gonna get some for the front but decided against it at the last moment and bought some ebc'c instead. The rears are wearing well and the car does stop better, but i decided against the Zimmerman fronts as the EBC were recommended.

Going back to what Maxfield said, I would probably go for the OEM discs with the s/s lines and better fluid as your not really changing the discs but still getting better stopping power. Especially as it's a n M3.
To cut a rather long story short, the OEM's would be your best bet over the Zimmerman...All depending on what sort of cash you wanna spend, you could have zimmerman discs and still change the s/s lines and fluid though..
