Am fitting a sport mirror. The old one came out with a bit of a shove and jerk but getting it back is proving to be a pigs ear. Can't remember it being that difficult on my other car. Urgently need to resolve this one by the weekend. Any help greatly apprecaited please.

Quite a common question on here!! I found easier to slot the clip on one side in, then lever the other with a flat blade, still took a bit of shouting and swearing, but it went in the end!
