Hey all,

Trying to figure out if I have the tire jack mounted incorrectly in the back of my Touring. I've got it clamped down in the factory location in the left cubby, but no matter how much I tighten the thumb screw, it still just rattles around back there. Is there supposed to be something in the cubby to keep the jack from clonking around?

Mine did this, also did it in my old sport, I wrapped some foam sheets around where it would contact areas in the boot.

Jack in a touring is the same as the one in a saloon, but the little clamp that holds it in place is different.
The touring one is supposed to hold the wheel brace as well.
BMW don't do rattles!
