What holds the seat back to the base?

Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

Got a slight problem on one of my seats in that the back wobbles a little (you can pull it up slightly on either side)

I've taken the seat out and the back off, all I can see holding it is the 2 brass coloured screws which are in tight and the cables which were a little slack.
I bent the 2 bits of metal on the ends of the cables by the lever to tighten them up a bit, but its not entirely fixed it. Probably needs new cables at some point, but was wondering if I've missed something else, and theres maybe some other screws/bolts that are missing and would hold it tight?
Cheers,
Robin

Ahh crap, nevermind, looks like on closer inspection that the metal brackets the brass screws go into have sheared off?

Anyone know a part no for these, or is it a case of having to get em welded?
Cheers,
Robin

Hi, Is this a tourer? In your sig pic is a 2 door, and the seat base in those just pushes down, clipping in at two points near the front. The back just has two bolts near the back of the rear quarter pannels, and then pushes up, no screws..

Oh i have just realised you mena the front seat! Two small brass screws hold on the seat back on, and then two large bolts hold the main seat back assembley to the lower frame, Chances are they are not affected (they are hefty), got a pic? I think im confuesed on what your asking.. I have re built a few of these seats so maybe able to help :)

and for the cables bought a bicycle brake cable and cut to lenth and soldered old clips back in place.....job done ! !
