This may be a stupid question but for some reason I thought I had read somewhere about Tourings having badges of different sizes.

Euro Car Parts stock the following:

855110200 E30/28 BOOT BDG
BOOT BADGE

Should these fit both the front and back on a 91 Touring? I ask as GSF have the following:

B85000 BOOT BADGE E30 12.00
B85005 BMW ROUNDELL-BONNET&BOOT E30 10.00

So I wondered what the difference was?

Just a little present for my friends new Touring this weekend as his are very faded.

best

Unless I'm mistaken, it's not just the touring.

The E30 has different size badges front and rear.

It's not so much the size difference, it's the shape / profile which is different between front and rear. Front is flatter, whereas rear has a distinct curve and deeper edges.

So I am guessing although GSF says Bonnet & Boot I am actually looking at one of each?

Yes.

GS List it like that because on some other models, such as the E36, the badges are the same front and back.

E36's have smaller badges which dont fit the gap in the E30 bonnet. and if you really want a bonnet badge will fit in the boot, but as mentioned the profile is different and it looks a loittle odd if viewed from close up, otherwise you wont notice!

here is a front badge on my boot!
