Is it time for new leads?

Hmmmm, been trying to put this off for some time now (£70 from gsf ) Noticed a very small hole on the sheathing of one of the leads. When I was driving it today, ocassionaly it felt like it was running on five cylinders

I guess its finally time to change em as the spark plugs are new. Or could it be something else?

I've never replaced a single E30 lead. Every one I've checked has been as new.
If you have a physically damaged one, then a second hand one will almost certainly be OK.
Check you didn't bash one of the plug gaps closed when fitting them, and check the distributor cap.

Well it does seem physically damaged, its only a very small hole, I can see white underneath the sheath.

Il try a different set of leads first, if that doesnt cure it il change the dissy and rotor and check the plugs.
