My 320i Touring has a strange issue with the turn indicator circuit.
After it blew 6 15amp fuses while I was on a long trip I swapped out the indicator relay against a known good one from my other E30 and this did not solve the issue.
I then swapped out the 4 indicator bulbs against new ones. I didn't replace the side markers.
Anyway, the problem is still there.
When it blows the turn indicator fuse the hazards still flash as they should so that should rule out the bulbs.
Not sure if this is linked to the problem but the check-control occasionally lights the rear lamp circuit though all works as it should back there. The check control was doing this before I ever had the problem with the turn indicators.
Any ideas would be really appreciated,

You're probably barking completely up the wrong tree!
Open up the glovebox and sort out the little light that illuminates it.
