I keep getting a strange rubbing/grating noise and a slight vibration in both front footwells and also coming up from the pedals and up into the steering wheel. It sounds like something is loose and is rattling around underneath the car. It happens at any speed and either when the car is in a straight line or going round a corner.
I've taken it to two seperate garages who can't find anything wrong when they testdrive the car. Both garages have stripped the brakes down, pulled, pushed and prodded the suspension and had a good look round the car but to no avail.
I know troubleshooting over the internet isn't ideal but if anyone can anyone shed any light on what it might be then i'll be grateful.
Cheers for any help

First of all, welcombe to the zone on behalf of the mods!
How about the propshaft centre bearing? It's hidden above a metal cover, so can't be checked without remocving several bolts and screws.
