I am in the proces of removing an OBC and just want to make sure i remove all the necessary parts.

The short bit of wiring loom which connects the temp sensor and OBC horn to the main OBC loom appears to connect to the car loom via a white/clear connector to two big green wires, these wires just disappear into the cars main wire loom.

Anyone any ideas where these go and can leave them in??????????

If the connector you are referring to is the one just inside the bulkhead at the back of the glovebox, unclip it. Take off the sensor connector at the other end and pull the short loom back into the car. This way you will retain the rubber bung on the loom.

The rest of the loom is seperate from the main loom although it may be taped to it, so you will have to cut it free.

Just taken one out that wasn't attached to anything! Once the plugs etc. were disconnected took 5 mins to get the whole loom out.

Lucky me! winkeye

You need the indicator switch, the relay box that sits above the engine ECU, all the wiring that connects to the yellow socket on the instrument cluster, the wiring that goes down the left hand inner wing, the external temp sensor from the left front brake duct, and the horn behind a metal cover just above the brake duct.
If you want the donor car to run again, the two green wires you mention have to be connected together.
