how can i tell if my front suspension is shagged?

hi all, im getting a bit more body roll now on the 320. i pushes the wing down and there felt like there was no damp there just a spring. any ideas?

Front suspension on the E30 should be pretty solid, when you push down on the front of the car there shouldn't be a lot of movement there. If it does and bounces then they are knackered.

right..... new front shocks and new top mounts! that should do the trick! thanks simon.
