Fuel in the pistons and in the manifold, everywhere it would seem

Thought the starter had gone, wouldnt start obv, mechanic mate said it was the starter and that there was a fuel leak.

Took it to my BMW mechanic and he's mystified, says it might ge something electrical thats leaving the injectors open and "fuel is just pishing out"

Any ideas, 325i SE, 140k, zone chip but pretty much standard otherwise

check the multiplug under the intake runners dude, if there is a short to ground there the injectors will indeed be open 24/7 and lead to nastiness.

check and report fella !

Will report this back to garage HQ

Dude has spent 20 years sorting beemers and couldn't suss what was wrong, said he tried to fire up the pistons and got drenched in petrol, he usually smokes a jader whilst on the job so he's lucky he didn't go up like a roman candle

Hope its a relatively easy fix, mechanic said as much but just couldn't work out what was causing it - was getting worried, got big summer plans for the old german slag....

Cheers men
