ok had another go at starting my 320i this morning

changed the afm and it sort of starts runs but only for maybe a minute tops
but not running as in driveable running

she just burbles and sort of runs

but any attempt to rev her up to increase the idle kills her again

but what i have just noticed after this mornings play is she is dripping petrol out at the rear passenger side

any ideas??
is this a fuel prob??
is def getting fuel to injectors etc
and all sparks fine

but when she does start its more like an over run if ya get me

If it's coming from the area around the bottom of the sill, in front of the rear wheel, it's almost certainly a shagged flexible hose on the fuel filter.
Get yourself some new hose (& a couple of small jubilee clips) and get it changed smartish.
Apart from dumping expensive fuel on to the ground, it could also be contributing to your bad running with low fuel pressure at the rail.

HTH

BTW, have you tried the fuel pressure regulator as a cause?
