My rear wiper goes off on its own accord anyone know why ? Also there is a clicking noise that seems to be comming from the clutch area sounds like the tappets but its not as the click dissapears when I depress the clutch. Any help gratfully received :)

There's a miniature microswitch mounted inside the gearbox cover of the rear wiper motor, that controls the parking position of the blade.
I would suspect this switch or the mechanism that works it.
Other possibilities are the rear wiper contol module and the dash board switch.
