I HAVE FITTED HID'S TO MY 325ISE, AND THEY LOOK GREAT. BUT WHEN I TURN ON MY SIDELIGHTS WITH THE IGNITION ON, THE HID'S FLASH. I THINK THIS IS BECAUSE THERE'S A SMALL CURRENT SENT TO THE MAIN BEAMS WHEN SIDE LIGHTS ARE ON. CAN ANYONE HELP?

Yup i can help, on the left side of the car (Passenger) in the front where the low beam is nest to that will be what looks like two little ceramic resistors, follow the wires and un plug the connectins and you will then resolve your problem.

And try to avoid doing it, it will damage the bulbs.

You dont need to take the headlamps out but you do need to take the grills off on the passenger side.

To get at the resistors, yes, but the connectors are hanging off the loom on the inner wing.Demlotcrew wrote:You dont need to take the headlamps out but you do need to take the grills off on the passenger side.

Thing is brian, he doesnt even know where the resistors are located so what are the chances he knows which plugs to pull? I wanted him to trace the wires from the resistor pack so that he pulls the right ones.

I agree, in a way. It's always difficult to gauge just how much detail you have to go into with these things to strike a balance between giving the information required and not treating the punter like you think he's thick, keeping in mind that lack of knowlrdge does not equal thick.Demlotcrew wrote:Thing is brian, he doesnt even know where the resistors are located so what are the chances he knows which plugs to pull?
