ok -front lights a bit tempremental 'dipped beam warning on computer comes on, but a bit of fissling with wire behind the bulb housing does the trick.
Rear tho - on my passengers side when light is on 'normal' it is only half the brightness of the drivers side. (almost like side lights)
So, conclusion: the rear light works but only maybe 50% brightness??
what you think??
back light problem

Check the bulb mate, I think mine are 10w but somone might have put a 5w in yours or it could be about to blow... they go dark, somtimes a silver colour before they finally blow

As opposed to what?innes wrote: Rear tho - on my passengers side when light is on 'normal' ??
Two possibilities come to mind:
1/ It may be exactly half brightness - if someone has fitted a 5W lamp instead of a 10W.
2/ E30 rear sidelight bulbs have a habit of the glass going blank, making the light dimmer and dimmer as time goes on.
