Has anybody retrofitted a long range fuel tank to their cars? The one that goes in the back of the boot right up against the seat backs?
Looking for some instructions to see how the connecting pipes / hoses hook up.
Would appreciate any help.
Thanks

Do you live in the UK? If you do and you don't have an m3/something with a hudge appetit for fuel then it will be more of a hinderance than a gain.
You will need thte metal filler pipe which cost around £230 from the dealers (I have asked) and they only came on m3s to the UK or South African imports so your pretty ulikely to find one second hand. They also rust pretty badly.
When you have insatalled it they are genrally an arse to fill up, as the tank is pretty high so you don't have gravity on your side.
Have you got all thte boot trim as well?

Hi, I am based in Malaysia and yes I have a gas guzzling engine!
The metal filler pipe, which part # is it in the diagram?
The one I'm getting looks to be rust free and as for the boot trim looks like I will need to have it custom made.
Any tips to filling the thing up then?
Regards
