Put some new bulbs in my car, and i notice the beam is like the pic below. There is a 'dead patch' one one of them.

I switched bulbs, and its exactely the same. Also with no secondary bulb in both sides, one side is sweet, the other isn't.

Is the lamp unit cracked or something?

Thanks in advance. Image

Can't quite understand what you mean. Is this something that's just happened now you've changed the bulbs?
Are we talking main beams or dipped beams (inner or outer lights)?
It's quite common to push one of the headlamp adjusters out of its ball cup on the light when changing bulbs.
Do you have projector dipped beams, and if they are, smileys or non smileys? The smileys replaced the non smileys to cure a darkish area here.

The main beams on the outside.

They are the old lights/ non elipsoid ones.

Where is the headlamp adjuster?

I noticed it after i changed bulbs, but putting the old one back in, it is still the same.

Cheers.
