Mate, You should get the head gasket sorted before you try and start her up!

You could have dine serious damage if you have cranked it with a cylinder partly full of coolant.

Is there a spark? fuel? what condition are the spark plugs in? if they have been left in a damp cylinder they will have corroded by now.
Any chance of some spell checking & punctuation in your questions, it will make reading it far easier, and more likely to prompt replies.
Best of luck !

If you try and start it up with water in the cylinder you will get a hydrostatic lock - pistons can't compress water so something else will have to give!!
Also, if water is in the sump the pickup will send it around the engine to lubricate, and water ain't a good lube!
I've seen the damage that can be done, and believe me you don't wanna be stood near it when the 'piston hits the fan!!'
My advise - tow it to where you need it to be!

Check, with a 12V lamp, not a meter, that there is 12V between the + terminal of the coil and the car bodywork or engine block, with the ignition on.

Basic fault finding required then.
Take a plug out, reconnect its lead and lay it on the rocker cover. Crank the engine and check that it gives a good healthy spark once every two turns of the engine.
If it doesn't, then link out the main DME relay and try again.
Still no spark, then the crank position sensor is suspect.

Under the cover beside the coolant tank, along side the fuel pump relay.navi wrote:thanks, where is the dme relay to b found please?
When you said you have fuel present, do you mean under pressure in the fuel line?

White relay is the DME (ECU) relay. Fuel pump relay is usually orange.
Spare socket is for a lambda sensor.
Link both relay sockets over, pin 30 to 87, but don't forget them and leave the links in place overnight.

Very strange - should only be two in there.navi wrote:theres 2 blk relays and 1 wht no lambda fitted 2 car!did pull all 3 out pins all clean.Brianmoooore wrote:White relay is the DME (ECU) relay. Fuel pump relay is usually orange.

DME relay should have several red and red/white or red/yellow wires going to it.
Fuel relay should have red, red/white, brown/green and green/purple wires.
Lambda relay wires should all have green in them.
