E46 M3 rear top mounts...

i know this is a common mod, and im thinking about doing it myself, as my rear top mounts are shot and rattle like shit!!!

so does anyone know if they fit straight in or is there any mods that have to be done???

im hoping that its just out with the strut, off with the old, on with the new, then in with the strut, but for some reason i cant see that its gonna be that easy!

It's a couple of E46 cab mounts that I fitted last week. part no. 33 52 6 754 096. 310-47 eavh + VAT.
Fit straight on, no differently to E30 ones.

There has been some confusion over which mounts are needed, E46 Cab or E46 M3.
Just to confirm, the E46 Cab top mounts are the same no matter what the engine size (including the E46 M3 Cab) - they are also the same as the E46 M3 coupe mounts.

Yep E46 Rear mounts are the same as the e30 ones, I changed them on my sport over the weekend , no other mod is necessary!

Another option for even strong rear mounts are these ones you can get from the states:

(Search for "rear shock mounts" on http://www.bimmerworld.com/ 4th one own "3 Series LIFETIME WARRANTY Rear Shock Mounts" if the link dont work)

Combine those with "Rear Shock Tower Reinforcement Plates" at the bottom of the page and you have yourself some very solid mounts for not all that much expense

I dunno if there is a UK supplier, I bougt mine from bimmerworld.
