changed my suspension for 60/ 40 h & r cab cup kit
but the front springs are no good with me having the m30 engine.
the car is now nose heavy which it wasn't before .
need a better suited set of front springs that can cope with the slightly
heavier motor.
Suggestions please

not mine! mine was about -40 all round before fitting the M30, it was also nose heavy back then. now it's apalling! it feels like it has 4 cylinder springs on...
now it's about -70 at the front and from the marks it can be seen that i coil binds up the whole length of the spring!
i'd be happy to hear any solutions you come up with!

Ok, its not a touring, but there wasnt really any difference in the front height of my Sport when I fitted the S50, maybe 5mm after the suspension had settled. The S50 is a bit heavier again compared to the M30.
This is on slightly lowered 325i Sport suspension.

Both pics were with the original 15 year old M-tec suspension.gareth wrote:andy, was your suspension settled in that pics with the M30 in? it looked a lot cleaner with the M20 in though....had a bonnet too!
The "clean" pic was from when i bought the car at the previous owners house, i prefer the dirty pic though
