Hello,
I'm looking to change my subframe bushes, rear top mounts and front wishbone bushes at the same time I fit a new suspension kit. Are the bushes sold by GSF or ECP ok quality? Anyone used them?
Cheers,
James

Nope, not used em, but it'd be worth checking the manufacturer against this list

If they make em for BMW, then they'll prob be ok

Having a quick look, seems like the ECP ones are Lemfoerder, so they should be alright...

Ive used Euro's subframe mounting bushes on 4 E30's and 2 E36's and havnt had a problem yet
The rear top mounts can be upgraded to E46 cab items at not much extra cost,
But...... I fitted a pair of front wishbone bushes to a friends E30 last year and after about 7 or 8 months they had split and fell apart. Took them back explaining the situation and they did a straight swap for new ones, so only time will tell if these are any different

E46 m3 cab top mounts worth doing, I need to do my front wishbone bushes soon, think I'll go for the m3 ecentric powerflex ones though - should be easier to fit and last.

Whats the benefit of eccentric bushes on standard suspension? I thought they were only needed with E36 leg conversions?

From http://www.esatclear.ie/~bpurcell/318ism3cabush.html
(talking about std rubber bushes, not powerflex)
This bushing has no open gaps in it, and so, is firmer than stock. This reduces the compliance of the bush under load to improving steering and braking feedback by limiting camber changes. It also adds a little bit of negative camber, castor and toe
I think its supposed to improve turn in due to the added -ve camber/castor/toe
