Hi Muzz.
Glad to see you got the message
LH side rear is most probably the flexible lines around the filter as you say(in front of the rear wheel) or, if it seems to be coming from the front, could be around the area of the fuel rail. I once had a leak from the rail return line to the tank, that only showed itself with the engine running.
I'm sure someone else will be along soon with other ideas.
Welcome to the zone BTW

Not an answer I am afraid but today I noticed exactly the same issue - left rear, and also in the engine bay a little both only when the system is under pressure evidently.

Most common line I've found to go is the one from the filter to the rail... Easy enough to swap, so don't be tempted to just leave it!
Good choice of car & welcome to the zone

$30~ for fuel hoses is not bad. Swap them all mate and then your barbie stays in the garden and does not start under the bonnet!

I found the rubber pipe feeding the rail from the filter had perished on mine. It tucks under the manifold and gets quite warm - I suspect they always go first. It's a special bent BMW part, although I replaced mine with some regular marine fuel hose I had to hand and it works perfectly without being forced round any sharp corners.
On the rear left of the car I think is the fuel fump and I think fuel pulse damper (small chamber with 2 pipes) - I'd try the engine bay first though as petrol vapour tends to travel, and that is much easier to work on!
