is there any way to increase the lighting on the instrument panel. my 1986 320i needs a lighting boost, and before you ask, yes the illumination controll is turned up full power. also where can i get a good map mirrordash illumination

Use higher wattage bulbs....But that will mean more heat is produced which can cause some plastic bits to melt.
I think the standard dash bulbs are 3W.

Take the orange bulb covers out from inside,brightens them up a bit!

The map mirrors are very expensive, try ebay but its very very rare you will see them on there and they sell for about 70-100 pound
