Just got hold of a 318is, pretty pleased really!

Exhuast is loud though...

Does anyone know where I can get a front box from? Is it a CAT? (car is 1990 H reg August) Is there an aftermarket straight through pipe or something? Do e36 one fit? Its well and truly falling to pieces!

Timing chain is a little rattly as well, going to try a new tensioner, but will probably end up replacing the chain when it get to 100 000 (about 3000 miles time)

THanks!

I got a price of £160 to supply and fit a new exhuast from ATS they said they could only supply the non CAT system? German, swedish and french sell the system for £125 and i think they did it in sections to:)

The IS seams to be a funny model no1 seem to do system stainless exhuasts ony CAT backs that are in mild, i got a price of £275 for powerflow to build a custom one.

good look. :D

The front section of a 318is exhaust (manifold backwards) is ONLY available from the Stealers. The after market exhaust are only the rear 2/3rds.

May or may not have a cat - I do have a used non-cat exhaust if you want one.

Cheers,
Chris
