Door lock removal

Can anyone please tell me how to remove the drivers door lock?
The lock in there is knackered (turns a bit but doesnt lock) but ive got a spare complete lock set waiting to go on.

yeah you take door cards out then you feel where the lock cylinder is and there is a U shaped clip the slides over the back you need to carefully wedge a scredriver in there and lever it off, some you can pull off but not normaly, once that clip is off the lock cylinder just pops out but take it out from outside , if you push it out fron inside you might scratch you paint if it falls out.

one bolt secures the bottom of the window guide channel. Remove the bolt, pull the metal channel down a bit, sliding the felt part in the channel, and then you can swing the whole thing up towards the centre of the door, making access to the lock much easier.
Make sure you engage the clip at the top of the chanel when you refix it.
