speedo stopped

hi, my speedo stopped working... it jumps around randomly, then goes to 0mph, everything else works, just the speedo!? sensor im guessin??

if so wher eis the sensor located on the 318is???

Check the plug at the back of the diff is clean/ connected. Also see if you have an LSD while your under there

If thats not it (usually is) then its a brainmooore/smithy job

ooo im excited finally see if i have an LSD, cos it surely feels different to my old open diffed car! come on the 4.10 !!!!!!!!

it's usually the cable that goes - from the sensor on the diff running over the axle into the car-body.

Replace as much of this as you can.

sorry havnt checked anything yet, havnt had the chance to,,,, just wondering,,, does it help... everytime i even touch the accelerator the slightest,, the speedo stops working, and when i release it works again...

however i have had it not working at all even when released before,,, ??

any ideas? still same things? sensor/cable... ?
