Guys whats the realistic mpg i can expect from my car ,im not heavy footed and its a relatively straight run,18 miles each way I like this car but its needing some work but i dont know how much the work will set me back , some brake pipe( this is the pricey stuff am i right) and some slight cosmetics ,

I used to get 32 mpg on a 50 mile A-road/motorway run in my H-reg 318 cab (which is nearly as heavy as a touring), and I drove it with haste.
