Hi Guys,

I've just bought a electric sunroof kit from demonbiker and was wondering if anyone know's how to fit the check control that came with it. I've got all the wires and stuff, so need to know what wire goes were?? Also I don't think i got the mounting plate for the sunroof, is this needed? can i fabricate it myself at all??

Thanks

You're not going to like this. Check control uses a completely different main body wiring loom and a different engine loom! It would be possible to fit the sensors and run new wires to the check unit, but not a job I would like.
To fit the electric sunroof you really need the black and gold coloured mounting plates that the motor was originally on, complete with the cable guide tubes, but it is possible to butcher the manual backplate for the motor to fit.
The three mounting holes for the motor should be there, but for some strange unexplained reason, they are very slightly in the wrong positions. Any two will screw in, but the third is slightly out.
I have overcome this a couple of times by drilling the holes in the motor slightly oversize.
