fitting a cab rear screen.nightmare help pls

got my new rear window genuine bmw one ...from ebay,took the old screen out,no problems this fitting lark ....and im only ten minutes into the job( its the easy zip in window) lined upthe new one perfect fit put the zip on to start zipping it up zip slides along but the 2 zips dont join the bast**d has put a zip in the kit but its not the right one so i now go on a search...wifes old coat hmmm that could do it (cut zip of...no good) next i cut a zip of a pair of my trousers ....no good throw coat and trousers away ....aaaah her boots she dont wear them ...or at least not lately.sh*t
that dont fit either (throw boots in wheelie bin before she misses them)
zip of old school bag aaah looks good.sh*t throw bag away zip on couch cushion looks good ...better not gave up for now ...car in garage for night and go on the zone .....CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE i hope someone out there has a correct zip i can borrow someone who has changed a window recently and who still has the zip please help me no car untill i get one or we have a heatwave
