Can someone tell me the diff ratio for a non LSD 325i diff?
It is from a chrome bumper model with switchable sports auto!

Thanks mate!
So going by the chart it should be a 3.73 or a 3.91 right?
But will it differ due to having sport auto box or not?
Basically the diff on my iS is starting to whine, and i have both a 320i auto and 325i auto as breakers, and was trying to work out which would be the wisest swap.
Cant afford an LSD yet

the diff would probably be lower gear as it has a tourque converter, but i wouldnt want to say it to be gospel. better odds on u using the 25 diff anyway, as it may be a slippy
but, a 18i.s might not have it to push a crome bumper diff, as they were generally lower diffԚ´d also
according to the site a chromey pre 86 may have a 3.46! and an after 86 a 3.64
plastic bumpers may have a 3.73 or a 3.91 depending on sport box and/or slippage
not sure on this but it sounds about right, if the 2.5 isnt a slipper then go with the 2.0 unless the 2.5 is a large case . then iԚ´d have that.. but u could sell it (large case good money) and live with the 2.0 diff till things change
options options mate

yeah thanks mate, think ill jack it up tomorrow and try and read the tags.
Definately not a slipper, ive already checked, but is the large case easy to spot for a novice?
Any tell tale signs?

thanks that should be a good help!
Why is there a demand for large case then?
Generally stronger?
