The fuel guage on my tourer never reads full, when the tank is full it reads 3/4, and then when it gets to empty it goes way beyond the empty mark.
Is this a case of someone has removed the needle and replaced it in the wrong place, or something else??
Fuel guage reading...

Have you done the usual and made sure the 3 contacts on the back are clean mate?

Nope...do I have to dismantle the cluster to get to the contacts?

You sure the touring has a 62l tank/sender to match what the cluster probably expects?

Yes mate, where the gauge mounts on the PCB there are 3 contacts, 1 is a nut. Undo the nut and remove the gauge from the PCB and then clean each contact up inc the middle one. Do the same on the temp gauge.Simon wrote:Nope...do I have to dismantle the cluster to get to the contacts?
