For a 325i??

Wont do anything unless you get a heatshield around the filter.

The general consensus is that the stock airbox with a decent panel filter is best, unless you go for the BMC CDA.

Heatshield is not required if your moving.

More importantly you need to retain some kind of trumpet which is why I chose the ITG filter. If you dont then you'll be getting torque loss.

I've got a heat shield on my K&N at the moment, but from what I've gathered, heat shield's are only good for nose to nose traffic, when on the open road, which is when you want the extra grunt, a performance filter is better than the stock. That's what I have read and common sense would agree with that I would have thought.
I looked at the ITG one in the shop, but there's no picture's as yet and it's a little too much at the moment, anyone got a pic?

If you look under 325i you will see the picture - its not very good but you'll get the general idea. Its is expensive - the filter alone is nearly as expensive as a K&N 57i kit!
