I've got a spare inlet manifold which I fancy painting in black, preferably that crackle finish paint, to match the BBTB. Has anyone done this? what's the easiest way to prep and spray it, and where do I get crackle black?

Get a flap polisher for the end of your drill and polish up the raised BMW till its shiny , clean the whole thing thoroughly(I coated mine in nitromors it got all the grease off) then spray with paint,i used sperex ht paint (its not crackle but looks good)when dry gently polish off the paint from the raised BMW and bake the whole lot in the oven on high for 10 minutes

Well if you can fit a 36lb turkey in it I'm sure an inlet manifold would fit.

Hi Its called wrinkle paint enter that name in your search engine and you will find a supplier, I have used it on the air flow meter with very good results, costs about Ԛ£7.50 give it a go its great stuff.
