ECU fitment LPG 325i

I ahve just bought a zone chip for my 325i touring, one problem I am having is trying to open the ECU. I have it out of the car and have undone the 4 phillips screws from the top of the casing. There are also 2 smaller normal screws which I have undone and I have prized out the metal taps to allow the cover to come off, however the thing still does not want to come apart. I don't want to pull apart too much as I may break the contol unit and then I'm up sh-t creek. It seems to also have a small plastic lap over near the front which goes over the aluninium cover, but which cannot be broken as this would not allow refittment to the pin connector.

Secondly is it worth doing anyway as my car is LPG converted, I have removed the mixer plate from between the air box and the air flow meter. (effectively returning the car to stock, running on petrol), however when I removed the ECU to fit the new zone chip I noticed the ECU has a piggy back unit, which I assume is someting to do with LPG conversion, so perhaps my stock ECU is already being bipassed and fitting the zone chip would be no good??
Any thoughts?

There won't be any mods to the engine ECU for a LPG conversion.
They use their own seperate ECUs.
Looks like your car may be already chipped, but this will have no effect on LPG running, as this is fuelled by its own ECU.
There should be no problems in opening up the stock ECU. Any that I've opened have all opened up in a straightforward way.
