Can anybody help with this? I need to know if i could fit parts from a 325 to my 318i (M40) engine?

example throttle body?

Also i dont seem to have an ECU could i fit one? How easy/hard is this to do?

Hope you can help, Cheers Matt.

Nothing off a 325 that I can think of, (except the whole engine and box), will make a 318i go faster, and if your engine runs, I'm pretty sure you have an ECU. Try looking above the driver's right knee.
The M20 engine is an ancienr design, modified and developed into the second half of the 20th century.
The M40 was the first of BMWs new generation of engines.
