taking apart sport seats..(heated seats)

Does anyone have a guide or any exploded photos of front sports seats?
I need to open mine up to get to the heated seat elements.

I've done this!

At the back of the seat, there are screws at the base on either side.
The back panel lifts off.

Fold the seat fully forward. Open the back of the bottom pad and the bottom of the back pad.

The cloth panels are held by steel rings or folded prongs. Prise these open with long nose pliers.
I chose to snip one of the wires to make removal easier. Totally dismantling the seat hinges is the other option.

The elements do slide out from between the cloth covers and foam, but with dificulty- they can snap too, so be wary. I 'popped' open the bonds between cover and foam to make withdrawl easier. A piece of flat bar with a hooked end (bent over to nearly 180 deg) would allow the elements to be pulled out easier.

can you please keep a dairy (sp) as i look to do this in a couple on months, knowing you have done this i might take a drive by around your neighbourhood
