Chaps, its been a long time. I have somehow lost my old ID - does anyone know what it is?

Well, I bought a second hand Schrick cam from a very reputable source from the BMW car club. Her reckons its a 280, but im sure Schrick didnt make a 280 cam duration?

There are no schrick emblems on the cam, but there is a part number on one end face of it beginning in 'SG......'.

Is this the schrick number? Does anyone have something we can reference it against?

If its too lumpy then i'll have to sell it on as it wont work with my auto box. Anyone fancy a swap for some 15" BBS rims?

Its going to lumpy if its a 280. Sell it and get yourself a 272/272.

Ive never heard of 280 myself.

Schrick M20 (2.0-2.5L)

272/272 PN : 056 01 720-00
284/272 PN : 056 01 840-00
288/288 PN : 056 01 880-00
304/304 PN : 056 01 040-00

This info is a couple of years old so it may not be 100% accurate

Thanks chaps, doesnt ring true against the schrick number on my cam - is there an identifier anywhere else?

Hi Karan, yes mate both cars are fine! M3 is awesome, and i have just fitted some lowered suspension, full scorpion stainless, magnecor leads etc. Its currently running some very rare deep dish azev a's which ive had totally refurbished/polished, but i also have 16" BBS and 18" Alpinas for the same car!

Sport is still for sale.

Hows the 2.7 going?

As u know mate those 16" BBS rims are the rarest and worth a fortune. I wouldn't ever sell them, and am in fact having them refurbished with nogaro centres just like the Evo sports!

I have a brand new set of 18" alpina classic 2 replicas for sale - 8 x 18", et15, 5 x 120 pcd, falken fk451 tyres all round and genuine badges. These have done less than 400 miles - rrp is Ԛ£1000, I want Ԛ£650.

pm me if your interested.

cheers

p.s - that project sounds like a monster!
