the fuel rail is hidden under the top part of the manifolding, the hoses go to and from the tank to the rail.

they have probably split where they fix to the rail itself, to access the area the upper manifold runner needs removing, then all will become clear

get it done ASAP, fuel leaks are not a good idea !

Yeah just standard fuel line will do, the manifold is in two parts so just remove the top and the leak will probably be the piece of pipe about 2 inches long but if thats gone then they will all be in the same state so just replace the whole lot.

2 meters of pipe should do so get 3 :D
There is NO nucleus.

very tiny

i bought my replacement pipes from bmw for pennies dude, you cant go wrong. make sure the jubilee clips are tight also

see diagram, part numbers 15, 16, and 17 i used. 12 and 13 are metal pipes. I found that once my engine warmed up it didnt leak; nevertheless like ant says, fuel leaks are not good.

The internal diameter of the stuff I used was 5/16", says 'FUEL HOSE' and '12 BAR' on it.

I did this just the other day, fuel line I got from BMW says
01 36 05 V FUEL A 8x13 BMW > NBR <> CMD <> CR <

No idea what any of it means apart from I think 8X13 is the internal/external diameter

Hope your coolant lines go back on easier than mine did!
