Firstly, let me give a huge thanks to Brianmooore for his clear and concise help in sorting the wiring.

I now have all the wiring for the head unit and the ciggy lighter as it should be.

The head unit, which I got off egay a while ago, is working fine and just needs some half decent speakers and cable to do it justice.

BUT - the dash mount cge isn't for the model I have so it keeps sliding out going uphill.

So if anybody out there has a mounting cage for a Sony CDX S2200

PLEASE GET IN TOUCH or I'll have to wedge it with a beermat.

I always thought a cage was a cage. I have a used one somewhere from my old pioneer head unit you can have if need be. Just pay postage.
